PRACTICAL LAUNDRY BAG FOR THE DIAPER PAIL
Do you prefer to store your used cloth diapers at home in a solid container such as a diaper pail? In the past, the use of a laundry net or old pillowcase was recommended for this. Our pail liners are a better solution as an inner liner. They are virtually waterproof, breathable and can be washed hygienically after each use.
Features of our pail liners at a glance
- no zip, with all-round elastic that you simply slip over the edge of a bucket
- comfortable, universal one size fits all classic diaper pails and small bins
- breathable wetness protection thanks to PU membrane (polyurethane laminate)
- up to 20 litre capacity
- great colours and designs

ONE SIZE FITS ALL
THE BEST MATERIALS AGAINST WETNESS AND UNWANTED ODOURS
The pail liner is made of polyester with a polyurethane membrane. This has the great properties of being breathable and waterproof at the same time. Moisture cannot penetrate from the inside to the outside. The material is super robust when handled correctly. The practical elastic band holds the liner securely in the bucket.
HOW TO USE THE PAIL LINER CORRECTLY
The Pail Liner holds 2-3 days' worth of used diapers. The size is perfect for storing the individual parts of the WindelManufaktur diaper separately. There is no zip to close it. Either leave the diaper pail open (the air exchange means there are hardly any odours) or place a lid loosely on top. You can also put the pail liner inside-out so that the design is visible.
Please do not close the bucket completely, as this can encourage germ growth. Condensed water from warm urine diapers lead to an altered pH value and increased ammonia formation. All this is not only responsible for odour nuisance and permanent stains, but also shortens the life of the products.
It is better not to put the pail in a warm room or on the floor heating.
SIMPLY WASH ALONG WITH THE CLOTH DIAPERS
To clean the pail liner, simply put it in the washing machine with the diapers. While you put the inserts in the machine without touching them, turn the bag inside out.
You can wash it hygienically with the inserts at 60 °C with a full detergent powder. If it is only slightly soiled, it can also be washed in the coloured laundry at 30-40 °C. Please avoid using fabric softener. The spin speed should be as low as possible (800-1,000 revolutions).
The pail liner should not be put in the dryer and is not suitable for ironing.

POSSIBLE USES OF THE PAIL LINER
Our pail liners are super as a storage option for anything that needs to stored wet or dirty at home. These are of course cloth diapers, but also:
- washcloths
- swim diapers and other swimwear
- panty liners and cloth menstrual pads
- wet wipes, handkerchiefs and toilet cloths
- make-up remover pads
- ...
WHY THE PAIL LINER IS BETTER THAN A LAUNDRY NET OR PILLOW CASE
As mentioned earlier, the pail liner is the better solution compared to a laundry net, old pillowcase or no liner at all. Why? Because, unlike a laundry net or pillowcase, it is impermeable to water and therefore no eliminations get onto the bucket wall. With them or even without an inner liner at all, you would have to hygienically clean the bucket after every use because germs can quickly form there. With a pail liner you only have to do this occasionally.
The pail liner can therefore ideally be used in combination with an air-permeable bucket, e.g. a bin or laundry basket with lots of holes in the sides. This way, the air can circulate even better through the used diaper pile.
