PERFECT FIT THROUGH ELASTIC JERSEY
Are you looking for a cloth diaper that makes a small cloth diaper bottom, but still allows plenty of absorbency and is super flexible? Then you've found the perfect cloth diaper with the JerseyDiaper by WindelManufaktur.
Our jersey is elastic in all directions and therefore adapts fabulously to any diaper bottom. The soft, stretchy material ensures the perfect fit. A diaper that follows your every move and doesn't pinch anywhere!
The cut of this outer diaper is adapted to the material so that the fabric fits tightly around the inner diaper. This way the JerseyDiaper make a slim diaper package. The leg cuffs also fit snugly around the legs.

This is what distinguishes our JerseyDiaper
- an outer diaper made of stretchy material for a perfect fit
- fits around the inner diaper without bulging - for a slim diaper bottom
- close-fitting leg cuffs do not pinch and follow every movement
- jersey inside and out - thinner than any other outer diaper
JerseyDiapers in our shop
You want a unique piece made of jersey? Unfortunately, it is not possible to send in your own fabric. But we would still like to offer you the opportunity to create your own jersey model. In our shop you will find exclusive pieces of jersey fabric. Please note that the custom JerseyDiapers are made from the selected fabric on the inside and outside. A combination with another fabric is not possible. You can have a custom JerseyDiaper made in the sizes newborn; 1; 1.5; 2 and 3.
THE STANDARD SIZES OF THE JERSEY DIAPER
The JerseyDiaper is available as an outer diaper in three sizes, just like any other WindelManufaktur diaper:
- Size newborn: 2-5 kg
- Size 1: 4-11 kg
- Size 2: 9-19 kg
You can use any corresponding inner diaper. As usual, you are also super flexible when it comes to the absorbent material.
THE SPECIAL PROPERTIES OF JERSEY
We only use high-quality cotton jersey for our JerseyDiaper, which is also used for our potty training pants. It is elastic both lengthwise and crosswise. This means that it fits perfectly without bulging or wrinkling. Due to the special processing technique, the fabric does not stretch out. The snap rows are reinforced on the inside with an intermediate layer of woven fabric so that the soft fabric does not tear when opening and closing.
The leg cuffs are made of cotton with a small amount of elastane.
HOW IS THE JERSEYDIAPER DIFFERENT FROM OTHER OUTER DIAPERS?
The diaper fits a little differently than a WindelManufaktur diaper made of cotton woven fabric or wool. Due to the special properties of the material, the stretchy area of the jersey diaper is cut a little tighter. This is important so that the elastic fabric can wrap tightly enough around the inner diaper. The leg cuffs are also sewn in so that they fit more snugly around the little legs. The snap area is not stretchy and has the same measurements as the other outer diapers. The waistband is comparable in width and feature.
The diaper therefore has a narrower fit overall, which follows every movement perfectly and does not pinch.
HOW TO WASH AND DRY THE JERSEYDIAPER
We recommend a normal colour detergent. The first wash should be done in the washing machine. Please open the diaper so that the fabric can be rinsed thoroughly. For all subsequent washes, you can close the diaper to protect the cuff. Hand washing is also possible.
- Recommended washing temperature: 40 °C, sometimes 60 °C if the outer diaper is very dirty.
- spin at a low speed (800-1,000 revolutions).
- do not use fabric softener
- do not tumble dry
- When drying, please make sure that the diaper is either dried lying down or hung lengthways on the line so that the leg cuffs are not overstretched.
- not suitable for ironing
- please wash with the same colours
