This curd soap for washing and cleaning is handmade in the Patounis soap factory according to a traditional process. It is made without any added colorants, preservatives and fragrances exclusively from the natural product olive pomace oil, sodium hydroxide, water and salt. The oil is extracted from the pits, peels and pulp of the olives. In addition, the soap is vegan and free of palm oil.

The soap basically falls into the category of Green Olive Soap, but has a higher pH and contains washing soda - which is why it's also called "spicy" Green Soap.

You get a bar of soap of about 140 grams (42,50€/kg).

Possible applications

The curd soap made from olive kernel oil is perfectly suitable for washing ourouter nappies with wool andwool inner nappies orother heavily soiled woollen clothing(e.g. e.g. ourscarves, loop scarves or gauntlets made of merino knit or ourtrainers made of merino wool) thoroughly and gently.

The soap bar is suitable for spot removal of stool or grease stains.

To use the soap as a detergent in the washing machine, you must first rub it finely. Then you can make a solution to use as a wool detergent. The ratio of soap to water should be 1:4.

The soap is also great as an all-purpose cleaner for dishes and for cleaning non-sensitive surfaces.

Not recommended for use on the body as it can dry out the skin.

Unlike wool laundry soap, it does not sufficiently re-fat nappies. To make outer nappies or inner nappies made of wool moisture-proof, we recommend greasing them in a solution with pure lanolin. You can find instructions on how to do this in ourHelp Center.

Small tip: To make an emulsion for greasing wool, you can add a little grated soap to the lanolin solution instead of washing-up liquid or baby shampoo, so that the grease binds better with the water.
