Wollfsbarsch (Wolle)

Our outer diaper "Wollfsbarsch" with the finest soft virgin wool has just as much character as the (almost) Mediterranean fish of the same name.

Material properties

• The outer fabric is made of high quality plaid virgin wool with herringbone pattern. The fabric feels wonderfully soft, is lint-free and has a classy look.
• Inside we have processed our anthracite, mulesing-free merino wool.
• The diaper is decorated with yellow snaps and wool cuffs in the color petrol.

Thanks to the natural properties of wool, the outer diaper with wool lining is breathable, climate regulating, self-cleaning and odour-neutralising. We use mulesing-free wool.

Application possibilities

• In combination with a greased wool inner diaper, the outer diaper absorbs additional moisture and therefore keeps extra tight - perfect as a night nappy!
• In combination with our trainer inserts you can use it without an inner diaper as a minimal diaper on the way to getting dry or as a backup for diaper-free/elimination communiation.

• lining/outer fabric: 100% virgin wool
• cuffs: 100% virgin wool (merino)

Care instructions

• Wash the woolen outer diaper by hand or in the wool washing program only in lukewarm water (at 30°C).
• The first wash should be done in the washing machine. Please open the diaper so that the fabric can be rinsed thoroughly. For all following washes you can close it to protect the cuff.
• Use a detergent that is suitable for wool, such as the wool washing lotion.
• Please do not use bile soap for the wool cuffs.
• Please do not use bleach or fabric softener.
• The outer diaper is not suitable for tumble drying.
• Please do not iron.
• Please wash with similar colors.

Please follow our sewn-in care instructions in any case.

For a higher leak-proofness or when using without an inner diaper, you can additionally grease the outer diaper with lanolin (wool grease). All information about care and greasing of wool can be found in our care and washing instructions for wool products.
